Booking Terms and Conditions for our courses at re.FASHION ACADEMY: By using our platform and enrolling in our courses, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

1.    Introduction and Interpretation
    1.1.    I understand and accept that these terms and conditions (the “terms”), apply to all training courses provided to  me by re.FASHION ACADEMY. The terms apply to all training courses provided online or at Fashion Council Germany and other third-party venues hosted by re.FASHION ACADEMY. 
    1.2.    Where examples are given in these terms by using words or phrases such as “including” or “for example”, I accept that this will not restrict the meaning of the general related words which are used for illustrative purposes only and the use of such words and phrases will not be deemed to be exhaustive.
    1.3.    I understand and accept that any references in these terms to “working days” are to days other than Saturdays and Sundays, public holidays, and any other days where re.Fashion Council Germany is closed.
2.    About re.FASHION ACADEMY and how I can contact the Course Office 
    2.1.    re.FASHION ACADEMY is powered by Fashion Council Germany e.V.. Fashion Council Germany e.V. is registered in Germany with the number VR 33910 B. The registered office address is Meinekestr. 12| 10719 Berlin
    2.2.    I am aware that I can contact the re.FASHION ACADEMY by email at hello@refashion.academy.
3.    User Eligibility
    3.1.    Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use our platform and enroll in our courses. If you are under 18, you may use our platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
    3.2.    Account Creation: When creating an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4.    Course Enrolment and Bookings
    4.1.    Course Availability: Course availability is subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any course at any time, with or without cause. 
    4.2.    Course Fees: Course fees are specified on our platform and are subject to change. Payment must be made at the time of enrollment. We accept various payment methods, as indicated during the checkout process.
5.    Intellectual Property
    5.1.    Course Content: All course materials, including but not limited to videos, lecturers, documents, graphics, and images, are the intellectual property of re.FASHION ACADEMY/Fashion Council Germany or its instructors/speakers. These materials are protected by copyright laws and are intended for your personal use only.
    5.2.    3.2 Prohibited Use: You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, publicly perform, or otherwise exploit any course content for commercial purposes without the express written consent of re.FASHION ACADEMY/Fashion Council Germany.
6.    User Conduct: 
    6.1.    Prohibited Activities: You agree not to engage in any conduct that violates applicable laws, infringes on the rights of others, or disrupts the normal functioning of our platform.
    6.2 Respectful Communication: We expect all users to maintain a respectful and professional tone while interacting with instructors, fellow students, and our support team.
7.    Course Completion & Certificates 
    7.1.    Course Completion Requirements: To receive a certificate of completion for a course, you must meet all course completion requirements, including completing all assignments, quizzes, and assessments as specified by the instructor.
    7.2.    Certificate Issuance: Certificates of completion will be issued in digital format- re.FASHION ACADEMY reserves the right to withhold or revoke certificates if the course completion requirements are not met or if there is any violation of our platform's policies.
8.    Cancellations
    8.1.    Re.FASHION ACADEMY reserves the right to cancel courses for reasons such as low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, enrolled students will be notified, and appropriate arrangements will be made, which may include a refund or transfer to another course.
9.    Postponement
    9.1.     If a class is postponed for reasons for which re.FASHION ACADEMY is responsible, including staff illness, re.FASHION ACADEMY will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the class or to add the missed hours on to the remaining Course classes.
    9.2.    In these circumstances I acknowledge that re.FASHION ACADEMY apologises for any inconvenience caused and I am encouraged to contact office if I have any concerns.
10.    Payment of Refunds 
    10.1.     I accept that if I become entitled under these Terms to receive a refund from re.FASHION ACADEMY  then:
        10.1.1.     refunds will be paid in EUR and re.FASHION ACADEMY  will not be responsible for any losses I suffer as a result of currency exchange fluctuations or exchanges; and
        10.1.2.    Re.FASHION ACADEMY will pay any refunds using the same payment methods I used to pay the Fees.
11.    Non-attendance
    11.1.    Non-attendance at classes due to reasons other than re.FASHION ACADEMY’s default does not entitle me to refunds, extra tuition or a transfer.
    11.2.     If, for reasons outside my own reasonable control (such as illness) I miss classes, re.FASHION ACADEMY will use its reasonable endeavours to offer me reasonable additional support, subject to me paying re.FASHION ACADEMY's additional charges (such charges to be notified to me and approved by me in advance).
12.    Privacy Policy
    12.1.    Our privacy policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our platform, you agree to the terms of our privacy policy, available at https://www.refashion.academy/privacypolicy. 
13.    Complaints
    13.1.    If I have any complaints about the Services, I should raise this with re.FASHION ACADEMY by contacting us at support@refashion.academy. 
14.    Other important terms 
    14.1.    The Contract is between me and refashion ACADEMY. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.
    14.2.    Each of the paragraphs of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
    14.3.    These terms and conditions are governed by the German Law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Germany.

 

By using re.FASHION ACADEMY, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our platform or enroll in our courses.
